WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
Puro gelato is always fresh. That is why you will not find a huge line-up of flavours in our shops. The gelato is churned fresh every day in Italian machines, kept in traditional pots at the counter and served with a spatula.
Our gelato is strictly artisanal. All ingredients are high quality, all-natural and preservative-free.
Milk is one of the crucial ingredients and makes up to 70% of cream-flavoured ice creams. Puro uses local milk and high fat cream from small creameries outside Prague and fresh farmers-market raw materials for its flavours.
We are committed to sourcing the very best ingredients and we promote animal welfare, small farmers and sustainable producers.
WE MAKE GELATO, NOT AN ICE-CREAM
Ice cream is churned faster, creating smaller air bubbles and and containing more fats, which help to incorporate more air. So it often happens that you buy more "air" than Ice cream. On the contrary, gelato is crafted with little air, leading to intensely rich flavours, especially creamy textures and a higher serving temperatures.
